Find good spot for stem/ handlebars 

and seatpost around frame above wheel.

Loosen bolts on stem.

Take cables off of brake levers (line up notches).

With derailleur DOWN into corner, put second half of frame  into above rear wheel.

Put Rear wheel above front fork with cassette facing up.

Remove quick releases from both wheels let let air out of tires

Read Backwards for Traveler’s Check Boxing

Set front half of frame in box with fork facing up.

Take Surly traveler’s check apart at couplers with special Spanner wrench.

Un attach the special cables.

Remove seat post with 5mm allen key.

Put top cap back on steerer tube.

Remove stem bolts with 5mm allen key.

Remove bottom bracket with gental persuasion toward drive side from left side.

Move chain to the frame.

Remove cap with black side of BBT-9 tool.  This allows a gentle tap to remove crank arm.

Remove arm clamping bolt on left side with 5 milimeter allen key.

Removing left pedal (OPPOSITE THREADING)  It is opposite directions. (pedals have L or R)

Remove pedals (right side is (drive side) is normal threading)

Re-attach brakes (so they don’t move around)

Remove front wheel

Remove rear wheel

Drop both shifters to neutral position

Undo Brakes (Cantilever Brakes)

And, you have to read this from the last entry backwards.  

We did not take photos all the steps.  but have some build pictures to start.
